Commemorating the 40th anniversary of Gunpla! MG's high-end brand is born! "MGEX" is the "extreme expression" of MS based on the technology accumulated by BANDAI SPIRITS and the "theme" set for each aircraft by combining different materials. This is a new brand that is taking on new challenges.
■The theme of the first installment is "The ultimate 'light-emitting mechanism'." A well-calculated "structure" and a "light-emitting" expression using a new LED unit.
■By pressing a button, the eyes and main camera on the head light up, and the psychoframe on the main body emits red and green light, and then it is possible to produce a light emission effect with varying intensities.
■The newly adopted "flexible LED sheet" makes assembly easier and saves space. Using this technology as a starting point, Unicorn Gundam is the first in history to be able to transform, emit light, change color tone, and move.
■The proportions of the whole body were completely supervised by Hajime Katoki, and the figure was created using a new model.
■Using lead wires, it is possible to make the clear parts of the shield placed away from the main body emit light.
■Water transfer decals including new designs original to the plastic model are included.
■The dedicated MS cage houses the battery box of the illumination unit, adjusts the position of the support, and also has the function of holding weapons.
■Three AA alkaline batteries (sold separately) are required to reproduce the light emission.
